Ken Taylor Biography

Ken Taylor became involved in Scouting as a Cub Scout. In 1985, as a parent, he again became involved when his older son joined a cub pack. In 1989 he registered as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout troop 448 in Salisbury, NC. During his years with Troop 448 Ken completed basic leader training, outdoor leader training and became a member of The Order of the Arrow. After moving to Chattanooga Ken joined Troop 166 as an Assistant Scoutmaster, later serving Pack 3266 as Assistant Webelos Leader and as Cubmaster. In 2001 Ken along with his wife, Jeri, started Cub Pack 3280 and Troop 80 where he served as Scoutmaster for 9 ½ years. He now serves as a Unit Commissioner. Ken is an Owl from Wood Badge Course SR-655.
